What do you think how Star Trek XI is going to be? Have you had a chance to look behind the scenes yet?

Would you be interested in playing Star Trek: Online? Which race would you like to play and which places would you love to visit?

My questions for Rick:

1. What era would you set STO in, and would that era provide additional strength to the franchise?

2. Do you feel that STO should be made with a realistic feel, or should a casual approach be taken to capitalize on more players?

3. If the developers approached you to work on STO, would you?

I might have more later.

Additional Question:

4. As one of the creators of Star Trek "canon", how important do you feel it is for the developers to stick to canon when making STO?

If you were the executive designer for STO, what would your vision of it be?

also, do you prefer the traditional ciruclar saucer design or the newer pointing tipped designs for Starfleet vessels?

Are you working on any projects you could tell us about?

Will there be another trek series in the near future?

Have you played any MMO's ?

Has anyone from cryptic talked to you about advice for designing STO?

Mr Sternback...

i have no questions..

i have no requests...

i simply am gonna post to you this.

Congratulations on everything you have done over all of your career thus far. i look forward to seeing more of your work in future years. i have enjoyed all of you work from anything of course Star Trek related to such films like The Last Star Fighter, Carl Sagan's Cosmos: A Personal Voyage  etc etc etc as well as the irc group i often used to frequent a while ago named sci.space.history.

between ur work and those you have worked with like andrew probert. i have been captivated by spaceflight and the mechanics that make it viable in both visual medium such as film and tv as well as the real life endevoures of astronoughts and the men and women behind such flights.

i have read most of your published work and to this day am very impressed. keep up the great work and as a very wise man once stated. let imagination and inginuity fuel ur imagination and ur life for years to come.

many thanks for all ur work so far.. it's been very "facinating" :)

Hello,
what design are you most proud of?.
Are there any designs which you feel could have been done better?.

I met you at the San Diego Comic Con once.

I was in for one of your talks there where you started the show with your childhood work and showed the progression to your Star Trek work.

As an illustrator fresh out of college was blown away and so inspired.

What was Dr. Bussard like?

Towards the end of his life he seems to have made major breakthroughs in his designs. What were those?  Does it change things for Bussard/
nacelle technology???

what major technologies that have not been seen yet will make an appearance in the Next Trek?

What future technologies excite you?

As Technical Advisor  - Were you pretty much responsible for making sure things in ST would actually work in real life?  Is the technology scientifically sound and possible?
