(This is a re-post of a topic originally posted 4 days ago.  Response has been great so far, however a little more is needed)

Its a very rare case where we at Hailing Frequency have to send out a mass mail on this subject, however the time is dire and desperate times call for desperate measures.

Hailing Frequency is currently operating $400.00 in the red and this is increasing at a rate of between $150.00 and $200.00 per month as of late, due to high interest in the Hailing Frequency podcast and website.   

Until now, the staff of Hailing Frequency have been covering this deficit out of our own pockets, however our resources are becoming streched due to various reasons, and thus, we must ask our dear community to help us out.

We require donations of all sizes, anything from a dollar to the limitless roof - if you can spare anything at the moment, please help us out, otherwise we may get to the point where parts of the site will have to be temporarily shutdown.

Our community is usually very generous on this front, and to those regular donors, we thank you, however things have dried up in the past couple of months on the donations front and any "savings" that we had from our donors were eaten up quite a while ago.

I would like to remind our community that we are completely not-for-profit and make no money out of Hailing Frequency.  Everything is done in our spare time and is usually covered either out of pocket or through community donations.  We release a podcast every two weeks and have been doing so since May 2005.  In addition, our website is THE place to be for Star Trek Gaming News, Downloads and Screenshots.

While we cannot offer anything in return at the moment, Hailing Frequency will be coming into certain things in the near future, to which any donors to Hailing Frequency would be privy to first pickings - so to speak.

Once my wife starts her new job and gets her first pay check Ill be sure to drop some $$$$ into the donation pool.  Give me until the 18th or 25th (Gotta figure out if shes getting paid weekly or biweekly).  Unfortunately my income is the only thing coming in right now. 

If all goes well hopefully I can donate monthly to HF.
