Speaking of!

I'm going to Las Vegas and could use better mobile gear than what I have.

My goal is to find, get to know  and then interview anyone involved with Cryptic, KingWorld, J.J. Abrams Bad Robot, Amarillo Design Bureau...ANYONE involved with Star Trek gaming.

I've changed my plans and will be staying through the whole convention now and should be able to do a podcast/ live broadcast every night.

I am trying to arrange being able to broadcast from Quarks Bar as well as a Kinneas exclusive from the 'Experience' and even backstage on the experience.


I hope to get an interview with all the cast working at that time too and have one interview with the head actor there scheduled already.

Also scheduled is one dinner meeting with someone i can not mention yet...but it has to do with Star Trek gaming.  I'll maybe be bringing you news from that dinner if allowed.

Derek Chester is helping me with a list of great questions for any major actors I may run into.

I'll be sending Zach photos, blogs, transcriptions each day to keep you going too.

With the countdown timer well expired by that time I now feel that there will absolutely be news to be gotten.
As of two days ago I was not so sure and was wondering if Vegas was just going to be a wild goose chase.

Anyway.
I'll be getting there a day early to do tests with Zach.

----Donations for mobile gear I could use:

- A mini USB 'condenser' mic.  Gotta be a condenser.

- Two mini tabletop tripods. One for video camera and one for mic.

- a 6 gig or better memory card for the video camera.

- A digital voice recorder as backup device.

So if you are interested in helping and want your donations to goto the Vegas trip let us know.  If not the donations always go into the server cost pool.  I do not want to touch it if it is not allocated specifically for Vegas.

There is lost to plan still and if you think there is gear I am missing let me know.

  THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to everyone (past, present, and future) with the donations! Every bit helps! As to Vegas, it is not too late to donate to that fund. I know that some of us out there are feeling pinched on all sides (believe me, I feel it as well) so I truly do thank you all and if you can give, please do :)

Also an unbelievable thank you for other types of donations from: Paramount Parks, Creation Entertainment and interestingly...MITERA GRANOLA inc. who will be setting us up with some snacks! 

Everything is booked, paid for and squared away but we are still behind financially and could still use any support available.  At minimum we are still seeking $200.00 in donations! As K'Suan said...every bit helps and no donation is too small!

Just want to point out that they are only 27$ below the goal, so even 1-5$ donations will help a great deal.

Due to an unforeseen bandwidth expense coming up this month, i've had to raise our total required amount for January a little.

We currently need to raise around $80 in the next week or so.

Any help that folks can provide would be highly appreciated.

We desperately need to raise about $75 dollars to help fund our coverage of the New York Comic Con.   If anyone can spare anything, please donate via our treasury page.
