In the same vein, what's crafting like? Is getting resources something you do during missions, or is it a grind? Ditto on creating things - from what's been released if you have the parts there's no skill issue in creating it - but are recipes found, purchased, traded? That sort of stuff.

Can you talk about how the EXPOSE and EXPLOIT features work in away missions? Is it obvious when you outfitting your crew what to do and do your BOs use the features automatically?
Can one ship block fire from another ship? In early interviews this was impossible. However in a recent dev interview it sounded possible. That opens the door to fleet formations and tactics that can be used as screening elements. Can you clarify how this works (e.g., is it possible, is it a only a special feature of cruisers, or can any ship do it).

In the beta, I understand every is using Ventrilo. That will go away during live play - using your imagination, for people that have never player and never played with other players, how bad is it going to be lose voice communications.

Jeremy & Chris of STOked are answering questions on the live show - one of the things they said is that the game loses a lot without voice communications. Fleets/Houses will use something like Ventrilo of course, but PUGs via AutoGroup are going to be a BIG problem]
